Frequently Asked Questions

How do I delete my account?

Open the app, go to Settings or the sidebar menu, tap 'Delete Account,' review the billing notice, and confirm. All your Trucely data will be permanently removed, but this does not cancel subscriptions billed through Apple.

How is my data handled?

Each partner has a private transcript that only they can access. The AI mediator never reveals your raw messages to your partner. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How much does Trucely cost?

Trucely offers a monthly auto-renewing subscription through Apple. You will see the exact App Store price before confirming purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled through Apple at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends. One subscription is needed to create sessions and use Talk It Through. If your partner already has an active subscription, you can join their paired session without paying, but join-only access does not include private Talk It Through. Restore and manage-subscription options are available in the app.

Where can I review Apple's EULA?

Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies to the iOS app and is available from the app, on our terms page, and directly from Apple.

Is Trucely a replacement for therapy?

No. Trucely is a communication tool for everyday conflicts. It is not therapy, counseling, legal advice, or emergency support. If you need professional help, please reach out to a licensed provider.

What if I feel unsafe?

If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Trucely includes safety guardrails and will redirect you to professional help if the AI detects signals of serious harm.

Can my partner see what I write?

No. Your messages are completely private. The mediator may reference your perspective to your partner using neutral paraphrases, but your exact words are never shared.
